This landscape covers the north-western quarter of France with 2 regions:
Brittany is the westernmost region of France and has the longest coastline.
From Cancale to Pornic, the coastline stretches for 1,100 km, but it doubles its length if you include the many islands.
Although not very high, the relief is everywhere very marked in the rocky areas,
softer in the silty areas of the East and South.
Normandy lies to the east of Brittany and the north-west of France.
Its two sea fronts (north and west) are 603 km long and face the English Channel.
To the west of the Cotentin peninsula are the Channel Islands.

North-UK2 is an updated and extended version of the North-UK scenery. The scenery area extends from the Scottish Border region through the North Yorkshire Moors and the English lake District and now extended by 5 tiles further South into Northern England and includes parts of Wales. This will increase the range and length of tasks flown from the best North UK gliding sites.
The scenery has been updated with tree and water effects and has an accurate albedo thermal map.
All airfields have been modelled with either generic or realistic 3D models. Some of which have been contributed by OXO, KipperUK and GregHart1965. In addition Bowland Forest Gliding Club is now included in a Condor 2 scenery.
It should be noted that the Latrigg site in the lake district is a hill top site that has been used for reverse bungee type launches. Aero tow is definitely not recommended here, winch launch only.
Christchurch is a scenery covering the northern part of the south island of New Zealand. Its southern part is in common with the New_Zealand scenery and its northern part has Welligton airport in common with the Matamata scenery.
