In order to offer a comfortable download, simultaneous downloads are limited. Please turn off download managers, they are not supported and will be blocked.

Condor Updater is a tool dedicated to the installation of Condor 2 & 3 landscapes and goodies. It’s the preferred (and the easiest!) way to download and install landscapes. You can download it from here.

Although covering the same geographical area than Alpine Arc for Condor 1, this landscape is completely new: high resolution textures, completely reworked elevation data in 30m resolution, and forests.

Currently, 110 airfields have been equipped with specific facilities, and we will continue to complete them out of the 300 airports that the scenery includes.

For that, we always need help, if you want to find your local club installations, go for it!

Acknowledgements:
Due to its size, this landscape had to be built with LandscapeEditor in several pieces then assembled. This operation was facilitated by Marc Till's specific program, CoMeOb, which also made it easier to integrate objects from other landscapes.
The objects were either recovered from previous landscapes or made specifically with Xavier Delaborde, Jean François Gombault and Patrick Millerioux.
Texture retouching and water bodies have been done with Claude Simmoneau and Hubert (St Ex!).

The tests and controls of the aerodromes were carried out and hosted by the Condorsim.fr team.
The exchanges between the participants took place on the Condorsim.fr and CondorCafé forums.

It is strongly advised to use Condor Updater tool to install this huge landscape instead of downloading manually 16 7zip files !
If AA2 0.10 is already installed, download only patch.
If AA2 <0.10 is installed, remove the landscape and download it again.

Known problems: - All the airfields in the western part have been tested and do not present any problems during towed take-off except for the following fields, which in some directions only allow a winch take-off:
Megeve (SSE), Saint-Claude (SW), Zweisimmen (S), Dittingen (WNW), Calvari (both directions).
Take off from Courchevel is only possible in the NNE direction,
-Some airfields may have limited waiting space for takeoffs on heavily loaded servers.

NB: If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, you may sometimes experience “Out of memory crashes”. To avoid this, it may be necessary to reduce the visibility distance and forest density.

This landscape covers nearly the whole Alps, only some parts in the west and the east are missing. It's a 25 x 24 tile landscape, ca. 575 x 550 km, it has 497 airports and 1.329 turn points.

It has a free available texture with low resolution (10 m /px). The airports have no objects other than a boundary around the runway and a windsock. It's made with focus on flying cross country, not for sightseeing.
