Crossing the great Wall of China. Kinda.
** We fly Club (and School) class only. **
Anything with a DAeC index below 100.
All planes are enabled in the NOTAM so you can use water ballast in club class planes, and fly ASK21, Blanik or even SGS1 if you feel really brave. But any results flown in standard, 15/18/open/duodiscus will be deleted.
After a 5 minute warmup period, we have a pseudo regatta start (1 minute window). If you have trouble getting up to altitude, consider landing and hitting restart, you will respawn well above the start line.
Yunnan scenery is at a high altitude, so your TAS will be well above IAS. keep this in mind, flutter will happen early. To avoid some new pilots shedding their wings, for once plane recovery is enabled, but of course penalized. Unfortunately this also means the same penalty is applied for recovery after mid air collision. Be vigilant. |
