Welcome to Day 3 of the competition! Today’s task takes us through the all familiar stunning scenery of Slovenia, with a brief excursion into Italy. The weather is mostly cooperative, but rain showers drape the higher mountains, which along with some airspace limitations, adds a splash of complexity to your route planning.
For the first time in this competition, your electric sustainer’s energy use will directly impact your results. Make sure you have read the previous message about making a screenshot, or see the updated competition description for details.
The target voltage for Lak 17 pilots today is 103V. Anything above that is wasted energy, anything below that will reduce your bonus time. Duo Discus FES pilots can use their entire battery and will still get the maximum bonus Lak pilots can obtain. There is also no longer a restriction on a wing loading.
