Description:
The Allegheny Mountain Range is part of the vast Appalachian Mountain Range of the Eastern United States and Canada and posed a significant barrier to land travel in less technologically advanced eras.
The barrier range has a northeast–southwest orientation and runs for about 400 miles (640 km) from north-central Pennsylvania, through western Maryland and eastern West Virginia, to southwestern Virginia.
AlleghenyRidges3 is a completely reworked version of the AlleghenyRidges landscape created by Jerry O'Connor for Condor 2, with his permission.
All new aerial texture maps (from US NAIP imagery, which are free for download and use)
Texture map resolution has been increased
Airspace is now included
A new "flight planner" map was created
A new thermal map was created
New forest maps were created
For now, AlleghenyRidges3 includes the same airports as AlleghenyRidges, Front Royal Airport has been remodeled to include the Condor3 style 3D Grass.
Please note that landscapes only work for their respective version of Condor. Condor 2 landscapes can be used on Condor 3 if and only if installed and converted with Condor Updater.
In order to offer a comfortable download, simultaneous downloads are limited. Please turn off download managers, they are not supported and will be blocked.
Condor Updater is a tool dedicated to the installation of Condor 2 & 3 landscapes and goodies. It’s the preferred (and the easiest!) way to download and install landscapes. You can download it from here.
