Description:
Highland IL is the first public release of scenery developed for St. Louis Soaring Association members and other Central IL condor fans to train, practice and compete over “home” terrain.
Terrain surface was processed from 1 meter imagery collected during the summer of 2012. Landscape includes 16 nearby airfields, including Highland, Silvercreek, Greenville, Shafer and Nance populated with accurately located 3D features.
The 3D terrain model covers a larger extent than the imagery tiles as of this version. I hope to extent the imagery at a later date. For now the imagery covers a more than practical soaring distance from H07 (Highland IL). The thermal map is not well developed, but from the feedback from users, it is very realistic for the soaring conditions we encounter in Central IL.
Competitive tasks will be made available on CondorSoaring.com server list (SLSA1, SLSA2 and/or SLSA3 servers)

In order to offer a comfortable download, simultaneous downloads are limited. Please turn off download managers, they are not supported and will be blocked.
Condor Updater is a tool dedicated to the installation of Condor 2 & 3 landscapes and goodies. It’s the preferred (and the easiest!) way to download and install landscapes. You can download it from here.
