Hallo verehrte Teilnehmer,
heute nehmen wir ein paar Freunde in Wesel mit. Daher geht es im Doppelsitzer weiter.
Aufgrund der Startstrecke müssen wir allerdings das Wingloading auf 52kg/m² limitieren.
Der heutige Kurs führt südwärts entlang des Rheins vorbei an den internationalen Flughäfen Düsseldorf und Köln. Wir durchqueren eines der thermisch aktivsten Gebiete Deutschlands – die Eifel – fliegen an den Braunkohletageabbaugebieten und verschiedenen Maaren, erloschene mit Wasser gefüllte Vulkankrater, vorbei und landen an der Mosel bei Traben-Trabach, wo am Abend ein köstliches Essen in einem gemütlichen Weinkeller auf uns wartet.
Ein schwacher Wind weht aus östlicher Richtung.
Wir erwarten gute und im Bereich der Eifel hervorragende Steigwerte mit hoher Basis,
Für die meisten Flugbeschränkungsgebiete entlang der Route konnten wir vorab Freigaben erhalten. Lediglich im Bereich der Flughäfen Weeze, Düsseldorf, Mönchengladbach, Köln-Bonn und Nörvenich sind noch die CTRs aktiv. Eine Verletzung der Gebiete wird mit hohen Strafen geahndet.

Dear participants,
today we carry some friends from Wesel us. So we take the double seater.
On behalf of the available take off distance we need to limit the wingloading to 52kg/m².
The route takes us southwards, along the river Rhine and we have to pass the international airports Düsseldorf and Cologne. We will cross one of the most active thermal sites in Germany, the Eifel and pass the massive brown coal day mines and mare, inactive vulcanos filled with water. Finally we land in Traben-Trabach at the river Mosel, which is easy to recognize by its characteristic bends. Tonight we are welcome to a delicious dinner cosy wine shelter.
Weather:
Wind is low from east. Thermals are expected to be good to strong with extraordinary lift in the Eifel.
Air Spaces:
For the Majority of the airspace we got clearances. Only the CTRs around the airports, Weeze, Düsseldorf, Mäönchengladbach, Cologne and Nörvenich remain active. Any violation will be fined and rated as outlanded!
