In this race and future events, we'll be flying over landscapes designed specifically for Condor 3 (not converted from Condor 2).
Tonight, I invite you to fly over South Western Poland, a region famous for hosting five gliding world championships.
The start and finish are located over Grora Szybowcowa (Soaring Mountain), home to the second-oldest soaring school, founded in 1924. Back then, this area was part of Germany and was known as Schieferberg. If you choose to land there after your race, you'll need to approach downwind and slightly uphill, at the bottom of an active gravitational launch site. It's not as tricky as it sounds!
