Be careful with the Col de Vars a few kilometers after the start (height req. 2200m). No Airspace constraints to cross the Ecrins mountains.
Be careful with the wind changing in direction and the lower cloud bases in the Vercors valley towards Grenoble.

One minute before start, pilot must be on the correct side of the starting line (the side of the start area) to avoid having to return to the start area and face the departing competitors. A 2 minutes penalty will be applied to any pilot not on the correct side.
Right turns are forbidden in the last 5 minutes before the start line opens. Each circle or turn of 90° or more to the right will incur a penalty of 30 seconds per turn/circle observed.
