Welcome to Competition Task #8 at Pittsburgh Soaring Association. This is PSA's largest Proving Grounds task, "Galbraith’s Gold".
Date & Time: February 20, 8:30pm EST, 7:30pm CST, 6:30pm MST, 5:30pm PST or 01:30Z

Join Time: Join time is 20 minutes, 5 minute start countdown, 15 minute start window
Max Start Height: 5000ft MSL

When you're finished flying this week's task, please upload the .ftr file to the contest on Condor Club as you would for other contents hosted through the site. If you'd like to experience the submission and processing of a Proving Grounds task feel free to convert, or export an .igc file from Condor and email it to pghsoar@soaringtasks.com.
The Proving Grounds is a task scoring and pilot recognition platform designed to introduce cross country flying basics that develop confidence in pilots and clubs so that new pilots are ready for the limitless opportunities cross country soaring provides! This contest will tour US proving Grounds sites, flying their largest task bringing together the learning benefits of collaborative flying using Condor 2, and showcasing the Proving Grounds platform.
