Submitter's comments: If you haven't had a wench launch you haven't lived...the shot throws you right to a thermal or turn to the ridge using it to climb....start altitude is very low...hug the deck and get a good start...don't pull the glider off the ground too soon in the launch...it will roll to one side or the other and you may crash...the hardest part of the task is getting into the air..the rest is all DOWN hill..lol... no tow plane needed
