1. Training Task of CWC 2012
Our season starts with a trip through the Alps. Takeoff will be at Semadan airport in a valley between some high ridges. The first leg is pointing towards the north-east and since there is a strong wind from the north west, the ridges on the right side of the leg should provide a bunch of lift. After the first turnpoint we have some wind from behind, so we can get some good average speed here. 3rd and 4th leg should provide some good ridge soaring conditions and enough altitude should be gained to make it back to Samedan. |
