Hallo verehrte Teilnehmer,
nachdem wir heute erst den Durchzug der Kaltfront abwarten mußten, wurde es leider spät für den Start des Wettbewerbs.
Dennoch sind wir zuversichtlich rechtzeitig noch alle Flugzeuge in die Luft zu bekommen.
Route:
Die heutige Route führt uns von den Niederlanden nach Deutschland, zunächst südlich entlang der Nordseeküste und nach der Wende südlich Amsterdam geht’s entlang des Rheins nach Wesel.
Wetter:
Ein kalter Wind weht schwach bis mittel aus überwiegend östlicher Richtung und bringt trockene Luft heran.
Im Bereich der Küste ist mit Störungen durch eine steife Brise und niedrige Inversion zu rechnen.
Lufträume:
Für die meisten Flugbeschränkungsgebiete entlang der Route konnten wir vorab Freigaben erhalten.
Leider sind im Bereich des Flughafens Amsterdam-Schiphol weiterhin zwei Gebiete (CTR1 und 3) aktiv.
Daher wird um größte Vorsicht gebeten. Eine Verletzung der Gebiete wird wie eine Außenlandung gewertet. Ferner ist mit empfindlichen Geldbußen zu rechnen.

Dear participants,
as we first had to wait for the passage of the cold front today, the start of the competition was unfortunately delayed.
Nevertheless, we are confident that we will still be able to get all aircraft airborne in time.
Route:
Today’s route takes us from the Netherlands to Germany, initially heading south along the North Sea coast. After the turn south of Amsterdam, we will follow the Rhine to Wesel.
Weather:
A cold wind is blowing at light to moderate strength from predominantly easterly directions, bringing in dry air.
In the coastal area, disturbances caused by a fresh breeze and a low inversion are to be expected.
Airspace:
We were able to obtain prior clearances for most of the restricted airspace areas along the route.
Unfortunately, two areas (CTR 1 and 3) in the vicinity of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport are still active.
Therefore, the utmost caution is requested. Any infringement of these areas will be considered equivalent to an outlanding. In addition, significant fines may be imposed.
