Submitter's comments: Here is the task we are going to run, a day early. Neither Tim or I will be available, but Tim is going to auto/remote start the server with this task. Please send comments or corrections when you can. (It isn't a parallelogram, I had to change it but kept the name.)

By the way, new information on this contest has been posted on the main page on condor.club

A couple of things.

This is an area/assigned task, the further you fly into the turn points, the more mileage you get. This will affect your scoring on Condorclub.eu
Minimum time is 45 min, don't come home before then. If you do, then the time you flew is automatically 1 hour for scoring.
I put a diagram below, from the rules to help you think about where and how to fly the circles. The more you wander, the more time you can lose. Go deep into the first points to leave yourself with options. (Conditions are so good you don't have to worry!)
Standard class only. Everyone should have a Discus2, LS8 or Genesis to fly. Genesis is the default.
Since it is one class, there is no handicap.
Fill up with water. The condorclub does not take water into handicapping, so unless I specify it on condorclub, people can use water. Last week, the two folks that won, used water. Look at your polar in Condor to see what happens to your max speeds as you add water. Conditions will make it worth your while.
This is a fast task. Have fun. Keep your head on a swivel.
Sign up for US Soaring, they fly Tues. and Thurs. and it is great learning.
In the near future, I will be setting up a "contest" with Discord to start going through cross-country basics, including use of your gear, techniques, etc. This will graduate into racing at basic levels as well.

Task is:

Start NW 5000ft max height, 3.11mile radius, half cylinder
