Tonight’s race has weaker conditions than last week, with fewer wide clouds. Trying to simulate current conditions on a good day.
Some things to note.
Airborne start this week, next week there will be a tow. I am trying to allow us to get things done to not conflict with US Soaring. This allows people to get on task sooner and fly.
To that end, when we do tows next week, going to also make people work a bit for lift. Tonight we start at 3000, next week I will lower it.
This is a pure race, not an AAT. When you cross the start line to the finish line is your time, divided by speed.
We have start lines and finish lines, in half cylinders. When server starts, there is 10 minutes until gate is open, then the gate is open for 10 minutes after that.
Finish today over the airfield with enough height to get in the pattern. LEARN TO TRUST YOUR GEAR ON A FINAL GLIDE.
