Welcome to Training Flight #4, leading into the Proving Grounds USA tour 2021-22 - tonight we experiment a bit with a special task in Edmonton. The Canadian National Contest is being held at the Edmonton Soaring Club this year and it was suggested to have a Condor Contest concurrently with the real life contest. This will be a test of the Assigned Area Task (AAT) for me and probably most others. I am also trying a single glider type for this race, the Std Cirrus.

The Proving Grounds is a task scoring and pilot recognition platform designed to introduce cross country flying basics that develop confidence in pilots and clubs so that new pilots are ready for the limitless opportunities cross country soaring provides!
