WORLD Qualifier Event - 3rd FAI Virtual Sailplane Grand Prix
(Dec. 13th, 2025 - Dec. 22nd, 2025)
Entry to the 3rd World VSGP will be open to pilots who have qualified through a Qualifying VSGP according to the following rules: The 3rd FAI Virtual Sailplane Grand Prix introduces a revamped format designed to maximize participation, ensure fair representation, and deliver exhilarating races. This edition will serve as a test for the Olympic Esports Games (OEG) 2026, featuring a structured qualification pathway leading to a high-profile Grand Final.
World Qualifier Event (December 2025) To allow for additional opportunities and balance global representation, a World Qualifier Event will determine the remaining 4 spots. This event will feature the top-performing pilots from the Continental Qualifiers who did not directly qualify for the World Final, along with additional wildcard entries.
The top 10 pilots from each Continental Qualifier who did not secure direct qualification, along with local organizers who were unable to compete in their own regional qualifiers, will receive invitations to participate in the World Qualifying Event (WQE). This selection process will result in a competitive field of between 45 to 60 pilots for the WQE.
