Condor World Cup 2021

We are pleased to announce
THE 5th EDITION OF THE CONDOR WORLD CUP organized by the INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL CONDOR TEAM
Calendar :
- 1 training days : January 3rd 2021
- 24 races : every Thursday and Sunday evenings at 5:15 PM, 7:15PM, 11:15PM UTC from January 7th 2021 to March 28th 2021
- Server name : CWC2021-A …..
Taking into consideration previous co CWC we are going to establish 3 zones to enable participation in CWC 2021 for colleagues from other continents
IMPORTANT NOTE !!!
To avoid some misunderstandings and cheaters please be aware that:
1. if you logged into server you have to fly at that specific time (allowed only changing on running CWC server) , otherwise your result willl be canceled
2. If you registered on specific zone you you are obligate to fly in this time with exception you can fly in earlier zone (without briefing) otherwise your result willl be canceled
Tasks and settings :
- Glider: depending on the task ;all class are planned
- Handicap : Yes exceptions: Regatta and AAT/S tasks
- Join time 20 minutes, race start 3 minute after jointime end, start window open for 60 minutes
- Start line, finish line and turnpoints : alt/width depending on the tasks
- Briefing - full: 45 minutes before the race
- Only after mid-air collision is "Q" recovery possible
- Thermaling turn in start area (10 km) - left
- Plane icons range : 6km
- Turnpoint helpers range : 0 km
Allowed tries per race: 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sceneries : Arc Alpine 2, - Soutern Norway4, Denmark, Big Pyrénées2, Cascade Range, Centro Italia, Transandino, Yunnan, Scotland4, New Zealand, Temuco Los Andes
Scoring and penalties :
- The winner of each task can score a maximum of 1000 points
- 17 best results of each pilot will count towards the final result
- Penalty zones (if in use) : 100 penalty points for zone entry + penalty points/minute in zone.(depending on the task)
- Cloud flying : 60 points/minute.
- Outland in task : points for distance.
- Crash : scored with 0 points
- Missing FTR : scored with 0 points
