Arcade Cup 3
(April 23rd, 2026 - May 17th, 2026)
Welcome to the third edition of the Arcade Cup.
Arcade Cup is purely focused on maximising fun and excitement. Each task will start with an in-flight release, and the start line will open 5 minutes after the end of the join time. The high release will ensure the race starts with a sufficient altitude and speed. Conditions will be good enough to allow even less experienced pilots to get to the finish line, but don’t expect to fly at VNE all the time 🙂
We will have regatta tasks. Cloud flying will be allowed (if you feel adventurous), and ‘Q miracle’ will be allowed with a small penalty of 30p, so feel free to use it after a crash or maybe strategically…
You will need to pay attention to the turn point types, heights, and entry directions as all types of turn points, including gates, are to be expected. Turn the visibility of the turn points on (J)!
REMEMBER TO ENTER GATES IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION!
The competition consists of 10 races, with the best 8 results used for overall standings.
We will fly on Thursdays and Sundays at 18:15 UTC on the AA2 landscape with a 20-minute join time. No password is required to join the servers.
All tasks are created by Artur (A33), who has done an amazing job carefully placing all those gates to create exciting and interesting races.
