Swiss Contest - Winter 2025/2026
(Dec. 10th, 2025 - Feb. 25th, 2026)

The Swiss Contest is the highlight of the intensive training program organized for the 2025/2026 winter season by the eSports community of the Swiss Gliding Federation. Throughout the season, pilots will alternate between structured training sessions and competition tasks, all flown exclusively in the 18m class.

The competition is open to everyone, with no restrictions. The tasks will take place on the following dates:

10 December, 17 December, 5 January, 28 January, 4 February, and 18 February.
For the overall ranking, each pilot’s best five results will be counted.

Both for training and competition days, there will be the opportunity to join a debriefing of the previous session at 19:00, followed by the official briefing at 19:15 on the Discord channel.

Each flying session will last approximately two hours, and many tasks will involve crossing the Alps, paying tribute to the spirit and endurance of the Red Bull X-Alps athletes.

The training sessions are scheduled for:
22 December, 29 December, 14 January, 21 January, 11 February, and 25 February, the latter date reserved for either an additional training session or a final competition task, depending on the progress of the season.

More than just a contest, the Swiss Contest is an opportunity for the gliding community to grow, challenge their abilities, and share their passion in a dynamic and inspiring environment.

Get your gear ready, refine your strategies, and join us in the virtual skies this winter!
