Proving Grounds Winter 25-26
(Oct. 19th, 2025 - April 20th, 2026)



This is a Condor 3 contest. We will be flying Sunday nights at 8:30pm Eastern, 7:30pm Central, 6:30pm Mountain, 5:30pm Pacific or 01:30Z/00:30Z depending on daylight savings.

The Proving Grounds is a task scoring and pilot recognition platform designed to introduce cross country flying basics that develop confidence in pilots and clubs so that new pilots are ready for the limitless opportunities cross country soaring provides! This contest will tour all Proving Grounds sites, flying their largest task bringing together the learning benefits of collaborative flying using Condor 3, and showcasing the Proving Grounds platform.
