Cumulus Cup 2024
(Jan. 11th, 2024 - April 18th, 2024)
This competition is about relatively short tasks in typical Finnish weather. Expect anything between blue thermals and low cloud bases.
Only the 3 best results will be used for overall scoring, so you can be successful even you can not attend all the races due to work, family or real life gliding.
### ASW-20 only ###
The only glider allowed is ASW-20 to make races even and to keep level of competitiveness as high as possible. Water ballast allowed.
### Scenery and tasks ###
Tasks will take place in RayskalaWGC2014 scenery. Each task will take 1,5 to 2 hours. Tasks will be racing or AAT Distance tasks. The turnpoints for XCSOAR or external PDA can be found here (see link below). Tow launch to 1000 m. Maximum start height 1500 m or cloud base if lower. Finish height max 500 m. Penalty zones due to nearby TMAs.
